It might be worth going and getting yourself tested at a GUM clinic to be sure. Its not as scarey as it sounds, they just take blood and do a test similar to a cervical smear test. The results take 2 weeks.
When are you due your next period - pray that comes and if it doesnt, do a pregnancy test. I dont think you will get a result from a test until you are 4 weeks plus anyway.

How many sperm does it take to get pregnant? Answer - ONE!

Now, as for STDs, it is most definately possible to get HPV -the human papilloma virus (which is the virus that causes genital warts) and Herpes from just plain old skin to skin contact. In fact HPV isn't even preventable by condoms because the area around the condom carries it and it is spread by skin to skin contact. In fact, one of my very best friends who has been with her boyfriend since she was 19 AND lost her virginity to him (and never cheated on each other) actually contracted herpes from her boyfriend. Not too many people know that if your partner has a cold sore and that partner performs oral sex on you, you can easily get genital herpes. Now, this doesn't mean you should freak out. I'm just saying these are the possibilities. Although I am a nurse I work with very small children and don't usually answer these types of questions. If you have serious concerns about your activites you can call a clinic, they will give you free advice, and I promise you they will be a lot more knowledgable than anyone you'll find here. At least then you'll KNOW you're getting an answer from a true professional; someone who answers these questions on a daily basis. It is truly not a bad idea to get some form of birth control. Believe me, you'll be grateful you did.
