i have 4 weeks left of pregnancy and am feeling a lot of movement quite low down and occasionally quite high up does this mean the head hasnt engaged yet i often get a quick sharp pain from time to time in my abdomin, just wondering if the baby is more likely to come earlier rather than late i feel very uncomfortable not like when i had my first who was two weeks late

eyeswideopen is spot on, Kayla. This is the 3rd question you have posted on the same topic. You really need to speak to your doctor or go to ivillage.com and ask on the pregnancy forum there. All the best.

there is absolutely no way to know. i have seven kidlets and the doctor would never tell me from week to week, no matter what my symptoms were because babies dont work off of a schedule. i had one child who came in a rush. no warning to speak of. the next one i was in labor for 3 days. i had one that i was on bed rest and meds for the last 10 weeks. went into labor and had problems carring him the last 2.5 months. however he lasted all the way to my due date and i ended up having to be induced. the thing is babies come when they are good and ready. i have tried walking miles and miles, even tried castor oil. nothing. except i puked. be patient, it is very hard the last few weeks and i know you are just ready for it to be over now. it will be and then time will fly by. congrats and best wishes. mal

eyeswideopen agony auntWhat did the doctor tell you when you asked him/her? And if you haven't then I suggest you get an opinion from a medical source rather than a bunch of random people on a relationship website.
