writes: Does he like me or am I imagining it?I've had the same tutor for a couple of years and there seems to be some serious chemistry between us (I think??). In my first year, he complimented me on my looks a lot and praised me for my work and is notorious for being mean to other students but never me. He always uses me as a shining example to the rest of the class (which I sometimes find embarassing/uncomfortable). I've been trying to read his body language for a long time and have come up with these:POSITIVE:he always stands facing mehe always stands on my side of the roomhe always comes to me first to check my workhe sometimes blushes and goes quiet when he first see's mehe laughs and jokes then looks at me (to see my reaction i think)if we touch by accident, he looks a little nervoushe looks into my eyes for 2-3 seconds then looks awayI've caught him looking at me, hesitating for a moment before looking awayhe's looked me up and down oncehe always smiles and says hello if we cross pathshe raises his eyebrows (surprised look) and smiles/smirkshe leans back in his seat and strokes his chest area while looking/talking to meNEGATIVE:he sometimes stares at me blankly and doesn't speakhe speaks to my friend rather than me, or sometimes to me through her if that makes sense!he sometimes acts distant/uncomfortable around me (this also makes me feel bad!)he seems to want to get away from me sometimes (this upsets me!)There's probably more I could say but these are a few things that he does. Can anybody tell me if this shows whether or not he likes me? It's driving me nuts not knowing! Before anyone comments on the fact that he's my teacher - we are both legally consenting adults and I don't expect him to sacrifice his career for me and I won't be his student for much longer. I respect his position too much to get him in to trouble. I just want your honest opinions - thanks in advance!

it could be that he likes you but he may feel uncomfortable with you as he is your tutor! what your doing is not wrong but i think you need to wait and see if anything else happens, and always make sure that what happens is what you want
