When you DO have sex for the first time - TAKE your time, LOTS of foreplay to get everything going. Also I would make sure the guy you are having sex with knows, so he can take it slow.
Ever owned a pair of kid gloves? Tight fit, right? They tend to mold themselves after your hand, same with the vagina (well sort of) except you have muscles that keeps it in shape.

Yeah it is normal, and no it won't necessarily hurt the first time. Although most of the time it does anyway. I wouldn't worry about it. Now I know Aunty bim bim said you can fit a baby out of there and while this is true, she neglected to mention that giving birth is one the most painful things anyone can ever experience and about half the women that give birth need to get stitched up afterwards because they get split open. Her point is valid though most of the time the vagina can expand a great deal but there are cases that this just doesn't happen. Experiment more, if even at your most turned on you can't get it to expand then are ways to slowly make it wider.

Imagine the size of a baby, its head, its shoulders etc. Then imagine how much your body will need to stretch to give birth to a baby, even a tiny one.
You will not be too small, and providing your partner takes his time and your body is ready it is unlikely that having sex will hurt.
