writes: Hi, i cant stop thinking about a man i only met breifly,I`m 28 and i think i might be going crazy i mean ive had crushes before but nothing quite like this, it all started when i went to my clients house to take her shopping as i work as a carer, i entered the house to find two men who work for a gas and electric company there, i found myself drawn to one man and after a brief conversation we gazed into each others eyes, at the time i thought he was really nice but didnt act upon it. now he has taken over my mind i dont even know his name, i keep telling myself i`m just being stupid that its just a school girl crush, but i find myself pining listening to love songs and i cant eat or sleep, Whats going on, i mean am i going mad?

reader, anonymous, writes (19 January 2008): No, you are just as normal as us all. We have all done this but it depends on how far we let our brain drift before we put the blocks on it. He could be with someone or married with kids, so if there isnt a chance in hell of you ever meeting him and finding out, then try and imagine him as married with loads of kids. Therefore he is totally out of bounds, that is how i used to get by. If you do meet up with him again, then engage in a chat and find out then you can put your mind at rest. If he is single, ask him out for a drink, it is a leap year.
