This is caused by me being secluded within my own thoughts. people have tried to make me happy, but it never work. Every time i get happy, something bad happen that sends me even lower. Am I unlucky, or am i depressed because i'm unlucky?

Yes you could be depressed, like the kind that makes you sad even though things are going OK and makes seconds go by like minutes and minutes like hours when things go wrong. Therapists are very good with this, I would talk to one. Your school can set you up with someone. They can deal with both the kind of depression that comes from your life just going wrong, or the kind that comes from chemical imbalances. I see from your age you're still a young teen. Most teens go through a phase of depression while their hormones are going crazy. I did, my friends all did. It gets better, I promise. I thought everything in my life was going awful and that nothing could make me better. Turns out nothing was going too wrong, I was just going through teenager depression. It sucked, but once you're through it feels good.

Your neither.. you may need to go to the doctor for it.. or you are purposely doing this to yourself. maybe about something that happened in the past? just move on and try to do different things!
