writes: Am I dating a racist? I am not racist at all, but was wondering if the guy I'm dating is. When he was driving in my town he said that he hated the town because it had so many Mexicans. I asked if he was racist, and he said he wasn't, and something like how he was only kidding. Was that a stupid question I asked, or is he truly racist? I will not date a racist person! reader, anonymous, writes (25 July 2006): He may not be a racist, but he can be ignorant in a prejudice, possibly stereotyping way. Being racist, one will actually hate the 'other' species of human being,
PS: I still think we're all one race.
