It's obviously not normal for you - cos you never did it before, so it's okay to feel weird about it but don't let it make you feel wrong - it's natural and if it feels good it's okay. If your partner is okay with it too then it's okay. Some people do 'squirt' when they have a more intense orgasm and from wat i've heard a lot of guys find it a real turn on.
Don't worry about it, there's nothing wrong as long as it feels good. Don't feel bad about it. just enjoy it.

This is definately normal poppet! In fact, you're lucky! You're achieving what alot of women can only dream of "Squirting" I believe it's called. Basically, you're a lucky cow =)
On the whole, it means you have a heightened orgasm, and to be honest, whilst alot of guys can find it intimidating at first, ALOT of guys get turned on by it. Even if it is messy =)
But seriously, as far as your body is concerned, it's perfectly natural, and he's not right to make you feel that way. You do make he feel bad about the way he comes... right?
Just explain to him that it's upsetting you, and tell him he's bloody lucky to have a girl like you who can do it! You go girl!!
=)

For me I tend not to gush during intercourse/vibrator use but it frequently happens with clitoral stimulation especially if i am mentally stimulated too. It is slightly unusual in the sense that it doesn't happen to many women but there is absolutely nothing abnormal about it ( I saw a documentary on it once but I haven't seen it mentioned much elsewhere ). I have to be careful where I have sex/masturbate which is a bit annoying but apart from that it doesn't bother me. Go enjoy! x
