Am I bisexual, bicurious or what?

Question - (15 December 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 16 December 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

4 years ago when I was a freshman in catholic high school I had a huge crush on my computer teacher. Yeah I know it's common and wrong but and wrong but I felt attracted to him. When sophomore year came around I became attracted to one of the girls in my grade who looked really masculine. I felt sickened by that but felt bad for the girl because she was a lesbian with very few friends. Soon after when my high school years went by I felt myself becoming more attracted to females than males. And what makes this confusing is that I preferred men more than women most of my life and always viewed women as a role model or older sister. I already have boyfriend but something my heart makes me want to feel emotional involved with women. I am bisexual, bi-curious, or there something or someone missing in my life?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (16 December 2010):

things like this can be awfuly confusing. personaly, I believe I'm sort of in the same situation, for some reason, I find girls... attractive, but I still find men attractive, and I think I may have felt some... slightly-more-than-friendly feelings for one of my friends, who was a girl. my sister is bi, and she knows it, and she's almost, well, PROUD of it. you shouldn't be too comcerend about figuring this out just yet. I've learned that if you set out looking for the answers to a question this big, that could change your whole life, you may come up with false information, just from one little thing, and you may end up giving yourself a title such as, bisexual, which could easily influence your decisions and make you do things, that could lead you down a path, that might not even be how you really truely feel inside. sorry if that didn't make much sence. I tried to put it in the best words I could. but over all, making a decision like this could be life-changing, and not in a good way neccicarily either. so what I would say, is play it by ear. wait it out, and don't think to much about it. let your emotions flow out of you, and be attracted to whom ever you are attracted to. letting things go naturaly and embracing your TRUE feelings will eventually make the answe come to you on it's own, and when that happens, you'll know it.

hope this helped! best of luck, because I know this can be an awfuly confusing matter in life! :)

A female reader, AuntyAlexxmo United Kingdom +, writes (15 December 2010):

AuntyAlexxmo agony auntI am not sure how old you are 18-21 i am assuming as that is what it says, all those ages are still very young to know exactly who you are and exactly who you like. You maybe bisexual you may not but it is not something that should worry you, if you are happy with your bf then sexuality does not matter, he is the person you are with.

If you are not happy with him you may need to think a bit deeper is it sexuality based or are there other reasons behind it, and if you decide you need to explore your sexuality i think it woud only be fair to end it with him first.
