A good example of this is like when it was my birthday last week, she cancelled on me at the last minute before we were ment to go out because she just realised she was "too skint". A little harsh I thought, but I gave her the benieft of the doubt. So this week she tells me we're going out on the town to make up for it. Then cancels that. But we end up at the local dancing this time instead. Which was a little dissapointing for a birthday night out.. but again I gave her the benifet of the doubt. Funnily enough, her longterm boyfriend happens to be in the same place as us that night and she spent the entire time we were there complaining when he wasn't talking to her running about after him and his friends the rest of the time.. ditching me so she could talk to them. (Just the two of us were out) We where there an hour and one of his boyfriends friends girlfriends comes up to me with her and says "Can she leave with us? we're going just now". I replied it was my friends choice whatever she wanted to do. After numerous prods from this girl I kept responding with the same answer my friend who was standing beside her grudgingly said she was going to stay because she couldn't leave me by myself. When they left I told her that she doesn't need to ask her boyfriends friend to ask me if she could leave and she could go if she wanted. She said no, sat looking miserable and refused another drink or dance or... anything and just sat at the table. About 15 minutes later we left, all the fun had just been sucked right out the evening for me.. I could barely speak to her in the taxi on the way home.[As an aside, she and her bf aren't having any problems just now so that wasn't the reason for her behavoir]So basically she cancelled on me twice on my birthday then stayed out for an hour where she ran after her boyfriend the whole time. Am I being unreasonable or was she out of line? Thanks xxx
