Am I being a sucker for this guy or should I look elsewhere?

A female United States age 30-35, *nonabuss writes:

Hi Everyone,

I have an issue with trying to figure out if a guy is into me or not. There is a guy in my class who I am very fond of and would like to spend a lot of time with him and especially become intimate. We've been flirting for about a month now and I even went on a few outings with him in a group. We'd always sit together like at the movies or dinner.

Though we talk a lot and laugh and really enjoy each other's company, I'm not sure he thinks of me as more than just friend material!

Why do I think this? Well, he hasn't initiated a date with just me and him... alone. It hasn't been that long since we've known each other (only 2 months). So, I'm still hesitant to cut him off as a potential boyfriend and start looking elsewhere. In addition, my roommate thinks he is just the "nerdy" type, in that he probably doesn't know that I like him even though I'm constantly talking to him and smiling. I personally think he's super hot and charming.

Any advice aunties or uncles?

I want to ask him on a date, be more forward, or do something to help clue him in that "I am up for grabs!"

Should I just ask him out for coffee?

Yes just come right out and ask him out. If all the signs are there then I say go for it! Sometimes you just need to take charge, even if he tells you no and he does not feel that way about you at least you know where you stand, which is better than what if.

Good luck
