Although he's fun the heart says "no"!

Question - (31 March 2012) 3 Answers - (Newest, 1 April 2012)
A female United Kingdom age 36-40, *oundandconfused writes:

Today I went for my first date in a long time, the guy was great- good looking, funny, kind but acted like a big kid. As much I enjoy a laugh and a good time he seemed a little too childish for me. However when he asked if we could meet up again I didn't have the heart to say no. Tonight sitting at home it hasn't been him I have thought about it's been someone else but I know I have no chance with this person and that they would never look at in that way. Do I give todays guy another chance and see if anything changes or would it be cruel to get his hopes u that things could go further?

I had first date 2 years ago with a guy I met online. After a couple of hours my heart was telling me this guy wasn't for me and I was right. Trust your instincts.

PeanutButter agony auntI agree with the previous poster, I would give him another chance and see what happens. He may have been extremely nervous or you may be looking for the negatives to make up for the fact he is not the other person you're keen on.

There's no harm in a second date - but if you still don't think he's right after the second date, let him down gentle and don't string him along to a third. It will save everyone a lot more heartache in the long run!

Good luck!
