It really all depends. It could take a month or it could take years. My ex-wife and I decided to have a child after being married for 5 years. She had been using the pill for about 10 years. We had unprotected sex (regularly) for about 3 years before she eventually became pregnant.
The pill causes hormonal changes in a woman's body. Sometimes these changes take longer to wear off in different women.
Good Luck!

hey,
i came off the pill at 19, i had been on it since i was 14/15years old. it took me n my husband 5months to get pregnant, im now 21 with a nearly 1year old.
The family planning clinic said it would take 6months for the pill to get out of your system, dont listen to them, i did and ended up pregnant earlier then planned, so i had to drop out of college, it worked out for the best though, ghe course i was doing (childcare) i dont want to do anymore anyways. every individual is different.
my aunty came off the pill (shes 23) and got pregnant 2days later so its really just an individual thing, if you dont get pregnant within a year i would go to your docs.
Dont rush these things, make sure a baby is what you really truely want, its a lot tougher then people think. If it is truely what you want, have lots of sex, find out when your best time is to get pregnant (i 4got what this is called) and then do it lots LOL! and dont get to anxious, the more you agonise over it, the longer it'll take, apparently.
good luck
