But deep down I knew i loved him so much! When he'd come round my mum could see in his eyes that he's in love with me. He had been like this for 5 months. Despite not going out until october (08) we were basically like a couple going round each others houses often, he was the most perfect man!But just recently he was on holiday in scotland and on the last day he began to realise he didn't feel love for me anymore and the excitement had gone. It is so painful because it's at the moment when I've properly fallen for him and love him with every part of my body. I know this is different to infatuation because i love him unconditionally. He broke up with me because he didn't feel it was right to continue as he no longer loved me. It seems so surreal as he was soo in love with me and chasing me before, it was very clearly more than infatuation. It hurts sooo much having him just slip away from me like that.Do you think he will come back?If it was true love in the first place then surely he still loves me but is confused at the moment?Any advice? should i give it time or try to convince him to get into a relationship again?Thankyou

I'm in a similar situation, so I'm interested in how your situation has developed.

He could be confused or even scared to det into a relationship, give him time and if he doesn't come back then he most likely didn't feel for you the way he thought he did.
