I cancelled a date as I was unwell and now I'm wondering if I should be the one to make the next move and invite him out or if I should I wait to see if he asks me again? I don't want to appear over keen but I'm also worried that he may think I was simply making an excuse not to meet up. Any thoughts?? Reply to this Question Share |

Well why not give him a call? If he thought you faked being sick and find out you actually were sick he might be really glad to hear from you ;)
Worth a shot in my book.

If you cancelled the ball is now in your court. If you leave it he will think your not interested and may or may not contact you again.
Just give him a call and arrange another date, you can explain your reason for cancelling over a drink or something.

I agree that he should follow-up to ask how I am but it was only our second date and I just wonder because it is such early days that he may just assume I didn't enjoy the first date and was using this as an excuse. I don't want to look pushy by contacting him but I would really like to see him again.

If you want to see this guy, yes call him. Though I have to agree with "sexlessintheuk" - he ought to have called and checked up on how you were feeling.

If you cancelled, you need to make the next move, or he'll think you're not interested and that it was an excuse.
