reader, anonymous, writes (23 June 2009): Late 20's? 5 year relationship? Ouch! You might want to think about what you're throwing away. Good people are hard to find. Especially as you get into your late 20's and the dating pool gets smaller. You're not 22 anymore. You may think "I'll find another when I'm ready", but realize that this may be it for you as far as marriage and children are concerned.

reader, anonymous, writes (23 June 2009): There is no "right way" to tell him this! If he truly loves you, he will question you to death about this. You sound too much like me. What are you going through? PTSD? Borderline? Not trying to get too personal, but there has got to be some sort of explanation for this.
Or maybe you don't have any issues and just want to be left alone.
He will fight this. Trust me on that one.
