I dont know from personal experience (I am going through the same thing as you though) but my friend from work was pregnant with her second daughter and got three negative results from home tests before getting it confirmed at her doctors. make an appointment to see your doctor for a blood test. thats what Im going to do as Ive had two negative results but am experiencing pregnancy symptoms! good luck!

Your most probably not pregnant so dont worry.
This happened to me too, i was a week late because i was so worried about being pregnant and after i stopped being so worried i got my period :)

Your period is probably late because you are stressing (abt the fact that it hasnt come yet) just relax and things should work themselves out. When you are under stress or are tense your period is likely to be late.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 May 2008): I would say not. Although it is more likely to get a false negative than a false positive the chance of 3 being wrong is highly unlikely - gosh we wouldn't be able to trust them if we were would we?
If you are feeling under any particular pressures and stresses try to relax a bit, sometimes these worries delay our periods...if you are really worried, there might be more to this, go and see your GP.
