reader, anonymous, writes (28 July 2009): i think the best advice i can give you is to kind of flirt with him and if he doesn't flirt with you back, then that clearly proves that he just wants to be friends. i was in that same situation with a guy that was 2 years older than me too, but now we are together and it's great. the only problem why he never asked me out was because he had no idea i felt the same way, so that's why i told him how i felt and he asked me out. good luck
