writes:i am in a predicament as i have not seen my kids for nearly 3 years and i am getting to the stage that i want to see them again,my new partner has her reservations regarding me seeing the kids and not a selfish level but on a level that we used to look after the kids but there was always issues until one day my ex partners family abused my new wife in the middle of the street and in front of the kids and that when i decided to step away for the sake of the kids who havent had their father in their lives.i now have a beautiful little girl with my beautiful new wife and i treasure her and the last thing i want to do is expose my little girl to any of this hurt if my other kids came into our lives, as i am pretty sure it will happen as my ex,s family will create issues as it is their nature.I dont want any issues but i have to put my family first.

 i think that you shold go alone to this family and tell them about your intentions and make a date when you go and visit your children and make it a regular thing so that your children can start accepting you in thier lives.
