If you've both been on the antibiotics for it, I imagine you'll be fine. Having said this, go and speak to your pharmacist.

Speak to your local pharmacist. Different antibiotics act in different ways. Some start working within 24 hours, others need a full week to work, so you'll need to take further advice from a pharmacist or GUM doctor.
