I am sorry you were bullied. I have had several friends who have tried ProActiv and it works wonders for acne. But you must follow the directions to a tee. Every morning, every night, wash your face with the product. And give it time. It will take time but you will eventually see results.
Also, if you have insurance and can afford it you should pay a visit to the dermatologist. Retin A works wonders but it is prescription only and it is very expensive but TOTALLY worth it. If you are currently spending money on something else every week you could save it instead to buy retin A.
Anyways, good luck.

Hiya,
I know this one, I have a condition, which looks like i have red freckles, its actually called Osler Webber Rendu Syndrome, and because my skin is often hot, due to the lessions under the skin, I have open pores which block and I can get some mahooooosive spots!
Wearing makeup makes it worse, after a night out on a weekend, I can guarantee i'll have 4 or 5 spots by wednesday, unless I thouroughly clean my skin before bed.
however, I have good eyes, so I enhance these day to day, and I mix a little light coverage -light reflecting- foundation to moisturiser, to 'tone down' the redness, it doesn't cover it, but with my eyes enhanced, its amazing how many people dont notice it.
I personally agree with the guys on here, a little is alot more, if your managing to clevery make your skin look clear, when you have an oily t zone, with spots, your wearing alot, and it really is hindering the healing, and promoting new blockages.
Light reflecting foundations are a womans best friend. You wont see the difference, coz we are too critical of ourselves, and search for imperfections, but trust me, it'll look good, and people will only notice how well and healthy you look.
If you have a clinique counter, go see them, they have huge range of foundation for troubled skin.
Good Luck

I hope that helped.

I had no confidence in myself what so ever without make-up, make-up was also my saviour. I thought I looked awful without it and I used to be quite spotty at times too.
But when he did see me without make-up he actually liked me more! He said I looked 'way better' without and I didn't need it and he doesn't care about spots because I still looked always looked to him. I then after that felt more confident in myself without make-up and starting wearing a little less out and none around my boyfriend as he prefers me.
If he likes you enough, he will like you either way - With, or without make-up. If he doesn't, then he simply isn't worth your time. You'll find you don't actually look as bad as you think without it.

Okay I completely phrased that wrong haha.
What I mean is that we guys don't care if girls aren't wearing make up. It doesn't matter at all to us. I love my girlfriends morning face (i.e. no make up) for example.

I prefer a natural look, even girls that wear makeup should use only a tiny amount. Unless they're going on a night out.
You do know excessive makeup usage gives you acne and can ruin your skin right?
The answer to your question is that guys don't care at all about girls who haven't got makeup on. We only care if they have too much of it on.
Makeup in my opinion should be used to subtly enhance features, not to paint a completely different and fake face. Girls that put on full makeup just to go to the shop are just hiding behind a mask and look insecure from a mile away. Plus the amount of girls that don't know how to select a proper shade of foundation is shocking. I know girls and they have this orange line going around their jaw line, and other girls then look like they've been hit with a flour bomb in photos.
Less is more.
