He's got a little sister, a freshman, and we're casual friends, high five-ing in the halls (it's our thing), and whatnot. I'd agree she's "cute as a button" (as a female teacher/spell bowl coach told him once lol), but in a sibling sort of way. However, I'm afraid my buddy might think there's something between us, when there isn't at all. I don't talk to her except to say hey when I see her in the halls, and I don't say anything that might sound questionable to him about her. To clarify, I also don't have any relationship feelings toward her, and as far as I can tell, he doesn't think there's anything either.Am I being paranoid, or should I be extra-careful here?PART IIOne day, about a month ago, one of my other friends, a type of person who doesn't seem to have self-control, walks into a room where she is, declares "She's cute" while pointer at her, then goes and tells her brother (my friend) that his sister's cute. I've kinda joked about that once or twice. For example, when we were talking about a girl he likes, he asked it I might try to take her; I assured him I wouldn't, and joked along the lines of "I'm too smitten with [sister's name]...JK JK JK lol". (And I was indeed joking, to lighten up my mate's day)Is this going too far?

Hey love :)
Part one: If he doesn't bring it up then you don't need to either. Its a religious mantra of mine. There is no point bringing it up if no-one else has done previously- it could end rather badly!
Part two: If your a good friend of course your going to tell jokes to make your buddy happy! And as previously- if he hasn't said anything then don't worry! :)
