Trimming gives almost the same effect without getting in the way. Your bikini line is basically whatever hair shows when you're wearing a pair of undies or a bikini bottom. Waxing it will hurt like bejesus!

This is not what would come to my mind as to how to prepare for sex...for one, how old are you? Do you have an education, a real job, are you self supporting? Because what will you do if you become pregnant, and yes condoms break and yes you can get pregnant the first and only time you have sex. And you can contract an STD.
Are you concerned about birth control? Are you concerned about how you will feel when your boyfriend does not marry you after you sleep with him? You call him a boy, which tells me he is not yet a man. Boys are notorious for telling girls that they love them in order to have sex with them and their feelings often change almost immediately after the deed. Are you prepared if that happens? Do you have the emotional strength to deal with the strong emotions that go along with being sexually intimate with this boy? Do you think he has the emotional maturity to handle this kind of relationship with you? If you are taking all of these precautions and are not worried about protecting your heart then I guess you will do as you say.
But pubic hair or the lack there of is really not very important if you love each other, really it is not. The bikini region is the triangle around your pubic bone and legs that a bikini would cover, any hair that sticks out of that area when wearing a bikini has to be dealt with and removed, as to shaving the area, be careful and use lots of shave gel and a new razor and a mirror....good luck with that.

Wait for that honeymooon night.
No? Why is that? Then it isn't love.
