Thank you for your beautiful poem -- your extreme sensitivity and embracing heart are a wonderful thing! I don't know why love sometimes doesn't keep going for both partners the same way when it seems so all-encompassing! I hear your agony, and I wish you new-found hope: believe me, love WILL come around again! Just keep hanging in there. Uncle Sneaker is right -- someone is around the corner, waiting for you!!
Much love,
Manya

There's someone, somewhere, thinking something like this:
I am anon, unknown to you and yet
I am within your broken heart.
In every sadness and in each regret
My love is ready; a new start.
I know you’re not prepared to see me now,
I know you need to grieve for love that’s gone,
I know your heart’s not likely to allow -
And yet I wait for love to be reborn.
I cannot take his place; I never could,
I know you’ll always carry him inside,
I understand all that, yet know you should
One day need someone by your side.
You cannot see me now; your tears
Fall hard as broken pearls in silver rain.
The heat of love lost, ringing in your ears
And anything I say would be in vain.
I wait, although I know not who you are,
And when the time is right I’ll come your way.
For now, I’m here so near and yet so far,
I am your love, and we shall meet some day.
