writes:I feel so alone. I've never had a boyfriend and I feel like I may be unlovable. All my friends are currently in relationships and today it finally hit me that I have no one. I feel completely worthless and feel as if I've tried everything to lift my spirits: buying new outfits to make myself feel more confident when going out, being open to new people and no one seems to be interested in me. Is it possible that there are some people who are truly unlovable or am I just doing everything wrong? I don't know what to do and I feel as if it's finally starting to catch up with me, today I felt so low even as I write this I can't stop crying.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 April 2009): aww, don't worry! lots of people don't get boyfriends for a while, and it is NOT because they are not lovable. also, you want someone to like you for who you are, so don't change yourself.
often people need to get out more. try going out to clubs or social events to meet more people. also, do not be afraid of rejection. if you tell a guy you like him and he does not like you back, it feels like the end of the world. if he is still nice afterward, it means you can still be friends because he is a nice person. however, if he is mean and rude and just acts stupid all because you liked him, it shows deep inside he is not a nice person and that it is better you two are not together.
don't lose hope! and if you become super desperate, maybe have your friends set up a date or to. and there is always online dating!

hello dear i really feel sad for u, there are many boys who dont get girlfriend who are always crying and sad at there luck.Like wise many girls like u also don't get boyfriends.My advice will be to both boys and girlswill be stop trying for the sky.and settle for some one within ur reach that is approachable and gettable.But Relationships are always the hard thing.there is no perfect relationship.Just keep on trying and look for boy who wants to have many girlfriends.I believe its always more easy for girls to get boy then the other way.SO u have an edge there.
