I think I should give you some additional info.We see ourselves as a couple since 4 months.We have a long distance relationship.3 weeks ago we've met for the first time.The 1st question is about what she told me after the date because she was unsure of her feelings (if there were any), though she was sure about it before we met.The 2nd is about what she told me a few days ago on the phone. She expressed it in the general way. That's why I want to figure out if you see a difference between the two ways to say it.Thank you for your answers so far.I'd be grateful for some more.

i think the - iam open for a serious relationship now - means that the person wanst really fully commited to the relation or maybe seeing people on the side and now made up his/her mind-
the second i think means that the person wants to take the relation up a bit ..
