reader, anonymous, writes (1 June 2010): Nope. It's completely free, if you get it prescribed at the doctors. Ask for an appointment with the nurse and she can sort it out for you. You'll get a prescription from the nurse which you can take to the pharmacy and they'll provide you with your pills.
The health risks associated with the pill are very rare and they'll be outlined in the leaflet that comes with your pills. I wouldn't worry about that if I were you though.
Also, no, your mum doesn't need to know about it, because of patient-confidentiality.

As far as I'm concerned, I don't think there is... just that you need to take it regularly and on time so you wouldnt get pregnant. It might cause nausea.
You can get it at any drug store or pharmacy.
