I really like a guy I work with, it's the first time ever that I have actually been attracted to anyone, the thing is I know nothing really about sex etc. I have read book, bought DVDs but I am still embarrassed, I'm like a big kid and because I am an adult I feel really stupid.

Forget the books and dvds. Everyone is different.
Get yourself out there and chat to him.
Say to yourself that you are going to be in a loving relationship by this time next year and have it as your goal.
Do something everyday which scares you, it will build confidence. Start by asking him out for a drink or a trip to the cinema and as you grow into good friends things might start to happen.
Just be confident and guys will find that very attractive.
Sit in front of your mirror and write down 5 things that you love about yourself and belive me guys will think you are attractive if you highlight the things you love and are most confident about.
Treat yourself to a new top or a pair of shoes to make you feel confident and sexy.
Loving yourself will make others love you!
Good luck honey

Well get to know him first, a bit of flirting and see if he asks you out. After a few dates and he's hinting about sex, you really need to tell him you are a virgin, I'm sure he won't mind and will understand that he'll need to take things slowly.
