writes:I am 22, and dont have any expierence with women. I want to find a girlfriend soon. I get nervous when I see a women I like. A prime exaple is the lady at the gym. She comes in and looks good, so naturally I want to get to know her. I tell myself that I will introduce myself to her, time passes, she leaves and nothing happens. I saw her my next workout day and the exact same thing happened. So my question is how should I go about getting a girlfriend or at least a date. Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (28 December 2009): Develop your social life. Approaching girls cold has a low success rate. When you meet girls in/linked to your circle of friends, they feel safer, and a bit more trusting. The safest bet is to establish flirty eye contact. See if she will hold your gaze, and look back at you when she looks away. After this happens, she may move closer to you so you can initiate a conversation. Most of the time you need to be indifferent to getting anywhere.
