Right now I'm trying to get my school debt paid off and it will go so much faster if I stay with them rather then have to pay for rent at the same time.

Given the economy, I wouldn't worry about it. It would be more off-putting to a girl if you never went to college and didn't do anything with your life. So, at this point if they don't understand then they aren't for you.

22 is a little young ,u needn't worrying about it .but if you are 3 or 4 years older ,i must tell u that it's weird

You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders. It's best to wait until you can give yourself the best start. Once you have paid off your school debt, save some money before you leave home so you have something to fall back on if it's needed.
I don't think it will put girls off at all.

I've lived on my own for years, and some of my friends who live with their parent's envy me and see it as something really great. But I don't think it's a big deal. In fact, I often wish I was still living with my parent's, and rather than be put off by guys who live with theirs, I think it's a nice thing! That's just my opinion anyway! x

As long as you were being treated as and acting as an adult, then the reason you choose to stay would be quite acceptable and valid at your age - imo.
