Thank you very much for the help its helping I had the idea a theme party would work lovely, either black and white or like a western type.. I like the black and white idea, but it sounds to formal.. The western one could be nice and have children involved as well.. ..

Have a theme party! The theme could be anything. For example:1. Traffic light party - if you wear red you are unavailable, amber/orange you're sort of looking for someone, green means you are available.2. Colours - everyone has to wear black and white only (i did this for my 21st) or evryone has to wear pink maybe?3. Cowboys and Indians, Famous couples, Superheroes4. Countries of the world - everyone picks a country and they have to come dressed as someone from that country and bring food and drink from that country. The possibilities are endless!! with it being your 21st, and you said yourself this is the biggest birthday you're likely to celebrate, then make it one to remember, and having a theme will ensure that your friends and family remember is also!!!

i just had my 21st party last week. It took ages for me to be convinced to have one as im not really into hosting parties. But it was worth it!
My first tip would be make sure u have a strict list on whos coming. Dont let the word get spread around on facebook or anything. Have invites and make sure its clear that its invite only.
If your hiring out a function place call around and find out what suits you the most and prices etc. If its at home make sure you have responsiblke adults just to "keep an eye on things" I found with mine that was at home people had more respect when they were drunk witgh adults around still.
have a strict time the party finishes so people dont just hang around. At mine i said til midnight, i ended up getting the last person out at 2am!
Most of all just be organised. dont leave nything until the last minuite so as you get stressed or anything.
Goodluck and enjoy, its a really special night :)

It all depends on what you like to do. Do you like going to clubs, or a quiet night with friends?
