For his 17th birthday, we'd been together just over a year and I got him some Fred Perry shoes, a wallet with a wallet-sized picture of me in it and I wrote him love letters and other mushy stuff like that. He adored it. :)

Well for my boyfriends birthday I made him a blanket. Now I know that sounds dumb...but he actually really loves it. Its one of those blankets where you have two pieces of fleece and cut the edges and tie them together. i picked fabrics that relfected something he loved..which was the dallas cowboys. He sleeps with it everynight and constantly reminds me how much he loves it.

If it's something sentimental you want to get him then the picture in a frame would be a nice idea especially if you havent got much money. You could maybe throw in a nice written love letter :) You could also take him out for a meal or cook him one yourself or a nice picnic somewhere if its a nice day.
If you do have plenty of money to spend on him then one thing men LOVE is their gadgets. An ipod or iphone would be a great pressie or a game for his xbox.
Just make it the perfect day for him and make it all about him :) good luckx
