Personally speaking, I love to get gifts that are useful for me. For Christmas 2 years ago my girlfriend made me a blanket I could take with me to college. I enjoyed that because I had a good use for it. She's also gotten me iTunes gift cards, posters, and other things that she didn't make herself and may sound like they aren't "special."

However, there is nothing wrong with getting you boyfriend something that he'll actually enjoy and use. If he's really into video games, buy him a new video game he's been talking about. If he's into music, buy him a CD from a band he likes. While these types of gifts don't sound "special" they show that you know him and that you understand his interests.

Good gifts don't always have to be those romantic homemade things or stuff out of love. A simple, useful gift he will enjoy says "I love you" just as much as a homemade gift.

As far as what to wear on this special day, I'd pick out an outfit you know he likes. If you're not going out, you don't need to dress extra fancy or anything, just pick out a nice shirt and pair of jeans that you know he likes to see you in.

You are setting yourself up for a huge disappointing fall. I know you are excited but you are acting too eager. He is the one who should be losing sleep over what to get you. Trust me, guys end up cooling off girls who are in their face too much. You are acting too much like he has already conquered you. Guys like women who are occassionally unpredictable and keep them on their toes. They get bored real quick with a tame one. I would wait to see what he gets me first before I give him anything. But perhaps you could consider maybe a linked hearts gold pendant chain (the one where he gets half a heart and you get half?) if you are not into jewellery maybe a framed photograph of yourself? Good luck

Honestly - if he is a good guy, he should love you whatever you get him. He is your boyfreind. Maybe you could get him something totally different, or maybe that you know he would like- surely you know him well enough by now.yh?

Hope this helps.
