writes:hi, i have a crush on this boy. we get on well, we ocasionally flirt (mindlessy) with each other. but the problem is he is two years older than me and whenever i see him he's in the school yard with all his friends. i'm to scared to go up to him in case they make fun of me and he gets embarrased. i really want to ask him out but im scared he'll reject me in front of loads of people. what can i do?

Before asking him out, why not get to know him better. Ask him for his mobile number/bbm or add him on facebook. Get chating and find out more about the real him. When you feel you know enough about eachother, start hinting towards a relationship give it some time and who knows he might even ask you out. If he doesnt, maybe he is feeling the same way as you are now. So then you ask him out. chances are he likes you too. You will never know unless you ask. reader, anonymous, writes (9 July 2011): dont feel scared, btu a general suggestion is to not ask him out in front of his friends. it can put him in the spotlight and h may not give you his honest answer. if he is with his friends and you talk to him either get his number so you can text or ask him to hang out with you nto with his big group. you may want to hang out in a small co ed group first and then alone. when your alone if you want to ask him out and the moment occures then be fearless and do it! live life to the fullest and take risks! if you miss your oppertunity then you are going to regret it. good luck!
