writes: I'm feeling really stupid at the moment, since splitting with my guy we used to speak every other day, then 2 weeks ago we have spoken every day on the phone, maybe in the back of my mind I was hoping it was a sign he still likes me, but then yesterday my mate mentioned something to him about the phone calling and how it was getting my hopes up but then last night he said by speaking on the phone it didn't cross his mind that it was getting my hopes up and I said to him it hadn't crossed my mind either, he said he wouldn't listen to anyone else and if he wanted to call me he would, we do have good conversations on the phone and I really enjoy talking to him.He was the one to split with me and he is sort of seeing someone else already. You make him feel good and attractive. He kind of wants your friendship and the good things that involves without having a relationship. That is natural. Try to find other interests in your life and don't always be available to him to talk. You don't have to be horrible or stop being friends. That way you stay friends, he appreciates you and you have a chance of meeting someone else. Take some time to mourn this relationship and if that means not talking to him - he'll understand if he has an ounce of maturity.
