Lost (?) Answers

Every so often, an answer I submit seems to get lost. I hit the "Add Your Answer" button and everything seems fine, but 24 hours later my answer is nowhere to be seen. I cannot tell if the submission is failing somehow, or if it is just getting "lost", or if it is being rejected by a moderator.

Is there a policy of notifying registered AA's if one of their answers is rejected?

Let me look into this and I'll drop you a private mail... the approval process is different for everyone but you don't get notification of rejected answers.
