Celebrity Chain Gang Game.

tuxtux, posted over a year ago

Another game to play in regards to Celebrities.. Similiar to the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon..

We'll start with a celebrity and then the next poster must come up with another person who starred in a movie or tv show with the above actor just to see how far we can go. Please also name the movie they starred together in.. And NO DUPLICATES of celebrities and the next post most be with a different movie.

So we'll start with Kevin Bacon, so I will go with

John Lithgow, Footloose

Oooops! Did I do that wrong, Tux? I accidently went back to the "Gladiator" and Joaquin's connection to "Giorgio Cantarini". If anyone wants to correct that...go ahead.

but the chain was suppose to continue on the next post to an actor connected with John Lithgow..

So Eyes, has said Arnold Schwarzeneger, Ok! Now I have to think up another celebrity that co-starred with good ole Arnie in another movie. *thinking here* (thinking is difficult-I had only ONE cup of coffee, this morning!) hmmm....I know! Arnie played "Mr Freeze" in 'Batman and Robin' with this rather handsome, 'hunky' actor who was:

George Clooney ("Batman abnd Robin")

So now the next person thinks up another celebrity who costarred with George Clooney in yet, another movie...(tip: Check the IMBD site)

Co-starred with Val K in,

"The Doors"

Val Kilmer trivia: "Val broke his arm while filming The Doors. He was shooting a scene in which he had to jump from the stage into a crowd and the stuntman didn't catch him."

Meg Ryan was very authentic in that scene, Gina. Great actress! Even more funnier was the lady at the next table who quipped, "I'll have what she's having!" lol

Jack Palance

"City Slickers"

I have to admit, Billy Crystal is one of a kind. He was hilarious when he sang this following ditty, in City Slickers,

"Rollin', rollin', rollin', keep them dogies rollin', man my ass is swollen, Rawhide!

Get 'em up, move 'em out, wake 'em up, get 'em dressed, get 'em shaved, comb their hair, Rawhide!

Tie me down, tell me lies, pull my hair, smack my thighs - with a big wet strap of, Rawhide!"

LOL!!

Irish you make me laugh that was hilarious i needed that. Jack Palance he of the spaghetti western fame my dad used to watch all the westerns so i grew up being able to recite the films word for word those were the days. Did you know his real name was Volodymyr Palahniuk! his parents were Ukrainian!

Jean Arthur...

Gina, with a name like Volodymyr Palahniuk, Jack P defnitely made the wiser move by changing his name! Wow..that's quite a 'handle'! Staying with this Western theme here, here is a show I watched as a kid...in only 'black and white'!

'Gunsmoke'

James Arness

I miss US Marshall Matt Dillon,(what a man's man!) Chester, Kitty (the good 'bad' girl whom I feel, the US Marshall always 'secretly' wanted to boink! heehee) and good ole Doc Adams. What a cast! What a classic, this show was!

June Lockhart

"Lassie"

Does anyone remember her..when she played Maureen Robinson, in "Lost in Space". The old space series, back in the 60's? And I have to state, this series paved the way--without "Lost in Space' there would have never been a "Star Trek" with Spock and Capt. Kirk! lol

Wow..funny you should mention Liam Neeson, Gina...the other evening, I just watched him in the movie,

"Kinsey"

Timothy Hutton

So saddened to hear what happened to Liam Neeson's wife, Natasha Richardson. I was a big fan of hers, as well. I have friends who have been head-injured on the ski slopes...so I am a huge supporter of a 'helmet law' being place, here in Canada and worldwide, in this sport.

I agree many years ago when hubby and i could still ski! the only hat we wore was a woolly one to keep out the cold, gosh when i think of the chances we took. It will be a well placed law if they enforce it. I thought it was so sad too such a waste of life.
