Im totally lost. My loving, gorgous partner of 4 years has just told me he didn't see a future for us anymore. Out of the blue. Last week, we finally found a site to build our home on. 3 months ago, we discussed getting engaged. All his initiation. Now, he's sleeping in the spare room, and we are "FRIENDS". He says there is no one else (and i believe him, he can't lie) but that he has doubts about our future. He loves me, but can't see himself settled down with me. He says he's attracted to me, but we don't have enough in common any more. He works really long hours at the moment, cos as a builder, he has to talk work when he can. In the past 6 months, we have probably seen each other for 2 hours every evenin before bed. Usually spend Sundays together. Im totally lost. What do I do? Does anyone think that its stress, exhaustion or whatever, and that if we take a break, and be jst friends, that he will realise how great our relationship was, and give it another go?? Im shell shocked, and can't stop crying. I can't eat, sleep or think straight.
