Why do I push guys away? I find one fault and look for more

A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I have a real problem staying in a relationship. I'm 31 years old and have had lots of short relationships.

I meet a guy who im really crazy about and within a couple of months im bored. The guys i have been with have been totally different from each other. Its not that i am scared of commitment - i want nothing more than to meet someone i can settle down with. It seems i find one fault and look for more and then i start to look for ways out of the relationship. I've realised this problem is with me but am unsure of how to change it.

Vickii agony auntI use to do this a lot, you look for silly faults so you can get rid of the guy after you've got bored of them, you need to try a guy who isn't your usual type someone with obvious faults and learn to love then faults before you get with them so you know exactly what your letting yourself in for, if this fails then you obviously like drama in your life by breaking up with them and finding new ones its exciting..
