Why did my ex tell me not to have sex and that she wasnt ready for me to grow up yet?

I am going to college next week. Me and my most recent ex talk every few weeks 2-3xs a week. We were having a casual talk and out of nowhere she asks me "oh and don't have sex in college k?" I responded with "why would you ask me that out of all the things to ask?" All she said is she's not ready for me to "grow up" just yet. She is currently in a relationship and we have been broken up for 2 months. I'm confused please help.
