Your young and worrying about how to attract men and what are they looking for, you just need to be yourself, laugh have fun and when you do have that date don't worry about what it may turn into look at him as a new friend enjoy his company....we all look for different things but find we attract those who are more like us so don't worry darling there is some one out there for every one....
I love guys who make me laugh but that doesn't mean all girls like this in men does it...
It takes all sorts to make the world in the mean time honey realax and enjoy life....

 It varies per person and per age I think aswell. Some males can be very choosy, just like some females can about males. Others not so much.
My partner says he's with me because he feels a connection with me that he doubts he would feel with anyone else. Not only do we have a lot in common hobbies wise but also in our personalities too. We find the same jokes funny, and sometimes answer each others thoughts.
I doubt you are doing anything wrong hunni. You just haven't met somebody you really connect with yet. Remember that opposites can attract aswell :)
