I know this isn't as serious as an addiction to drugs or alcohol, but I truly believe my boyfriend is addicted to fantasy sports. It's affecting our relationship. It started off earlier this Fall with fantasy football and has expanded to other sports. At first it was minor, but now he is literally on his iPad hours and hours daily futzing around with his teams. I can't even talk to him because he won't even look up from his iPad and whatever I do say falls on deaf ears. We have to wait to do anything as his rosters need to be in at a certain time. When he's not on his iPad with the fantasy junk, he's playing video games of Madden or WWE.

He falls asleep with his darn iPad. It really took the cake tonight as he is diabetic and was out of batteries for his insulin pump.

I've been reminding him for 3 days he needs a new batteries and tonight it finally went dead. His response was 'give me a few minutes' , as he was adjusting his rosters. I was like, I gave you 3 days!

Anytime I try and say something regarding this fantasy sports addiction, he tells me I'm crazy, I nag, and that millions of men do it.

We live together and both have decent jobs. I take over all his duties in the house because he won't do anything unless it works around his schedule. Anything related to electronics or his fantasy teams takes priority.

Our relationship is rocky even more than it was due to this. What can I do?
