My partner and I are trying to conceive. My periods aren't regular, going from 21 days up until 30 days. They usually last 5 - 7 days, with at least 3 of those days heavy bleeding.

Last month, (period starting 15th feb);

15th - light spotting

16th - bleeding for full day, light blood

17th - spotting, brownish

18th - nothing

19th - spotting, brown

Also for the past week ive been getting a very bloated stomach, on and off. And my uterus seems to be a little hard and bigger than normal (yet im not sure this would happen if i was only a month pregnant?)

Could this be because I'm pregnant? Has this happened to other women while they've been prgnant?

I did post some of this question (the top half) a few weeks ago. I havent done a test yet cos i don't want to see a negative sign.

All answers will be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Would just like to say thank you to everyone for your advice and help.

I've decided to wait until the weekend and then do a test.

Will keep you updated.

eyeswideopen agony auntYou wouldn't be able to detect any changes in your uterus so early, nobody would. Just take the test already.

Hi love, I had the same symptoms. My periods was all over the place also had dizziness, stomach cramps and forever felt bloated.

Although I never missed a period i still had a feeling that i was expecting, my stomach also started swelling and felt hard so i took a test, which came back negative!

I still felt queezy all the time and bloated so i went to the doctors and found out that I was pregnant. My doctor referred me to the hospital as she wasn't sure how far on i was, after a scan it turned out i was 3 months pregnant.

I would go and see your doctor to be on the safe side, after all i did a test that gave me a false negative . . so much for 99% accurate!!

Hope this helped, let us know the result xx

hlskitten agony auntHi

I would wait til next month. A test will only work really from day 1 of a missed period. If you had a period in feb, you wont be pregnant yet, well, its unlikely! Some people do get them all the way through a pregnancy. But if you aren't pregnant, if i was you i would look into the bloatedness and irregular bleeding by seeing the doc. Could be something like Endemetriosis (sp)

C xxxxx

Yeah honey, the best thing to do is just take a test. I'm a bit worried about being pregnant too, only you WANT to be and I don't haha. I'm just hesitant to take a test because I can't bare to see a positive sign.. But the only thing you can do is take a test honey and I'm sure even if you DO see a negative sign, you can just keep trying. If it all becomes too much and you just CANT get pregnant, then go see a doctor. It's the only way you'll ever know, so just get all the courage up you can and take that test :] good luck, really honey :]

I'm simply asking if there are any women who may have had these symptoms while pregnant.

No need to be so harsh with your words.

This site is to get advice, and discuss problems. I know that the only way i will find out if im pregnant is to get a test, but like i said, i would like to know if other people have had the same symptoms.

Thank you
