I think he means he wants to see a confident sexual side to you as this will make him feel desired and wanted by you.
I am talking along the lines of making the first move and talking suggestively to him about how you want him, and be physically in control - by that I mean tell him what positions you want him to do you and then just do it.

 This is about his wanting to know that you want him, which can be really fun! If you desire him physically, tell him! Don't wait for his request to make love....tell him you want it. Get him into the bedroom, rip his clothes off, push him onto the bed and have your way with him. Or, drop him on the kitchen floor and make HIM the main course!
There is a *lot* of fun to be had when you take charge. Think about it -- all the things you wish he would do to you, you can do to him.
