I am 17 year old boy and currently I am considering having surgery to get my flabs taken out, and am wondering will it leave a big scar on my stomach?

I do not see any other way of getting rid of it as i lost all my fat and thought that it will get me to look thinner but ended up giving me flabs, I mean that is the whole point of losing weight, but I just don't see where I went wrong.

So can anyone tell me if their will be a big scar?

Lexi_3 agony auntHey. My mom has had a tummy tuck done and yes she still has a scar. Its below the wasteline though so if you want to show off your stomach then no ones going to be able to see the line. Its from hip bone to hip bone, and its pretty long. Shes had hers done for a year and some months ago, and shes just regaining feeling in her stomach. The only thing people may notice is that your bellybutton will look like it has jus been freshly made, which it kind of has. Anyways to answer your question yes there will be a scar, but theres nothing to be embrassed about, not even sex, you can always do it with the lights out.

Tell me how everything goes

TomWilkinson agony auntFrom what I gahter, you have already lost the weight and so now all that is there is loose skin? There may well be scarring if you go ahead with surgery, you just have to decide whether you would be happier with "flabs" or scarring, that'll make your decision for you!

Or you could go to the Gym and learn not just to lose weight but to TONE up as well...

But if you wanna take the lazy fat man's way out, by all means.
