 Maybe you should first remember that if you really like her you wouldnt care what they said but i know how you feel. maybe you could ask her out for lunch or to the movies that would be a great way to be alone with her and maybe talk 2 her alot more than you do.

If you want to keep the flirting subtle, just give her dancing glances every now and then and smile at her whenever you see her. Mess around a bit...
I don't think you should pay any attention to them if you like her then flirt with her... who really cares in the end. If it gets you a girlfriend then they'll stop teasing you.
