writes:I sent a message to this guy i like asking him if he is doing anything nice for his birthday at the weekend. he said he isnt going out as he has his son with him this weekend. his son stays with him every other weekend. he also told me that he hasn't been out drinking for a long time ( neither have i, but i don't go out drinking very often ), but he said he went out for a bit last thursday, and he said he would have called me, but he was only out for about two hours. he also asked how i was. i'd like to reply to him, and mention that i don't only like going drinking ,and that i'd even meet him for a coffee or lunch , and i don't mind if we meet for just a short while, or for a long while. do you have any advice on what i should say to him ?. he gave me his number a while ago, and asked me if i was on facebook, so we are on each others friends lists on there. he does seem interested by some things he has done.
