love-him agony auntHey hun, cramping can mean a lot of things, including;

periods being close,

implantation cramps

infection

If the pain is bearable and you can cope with it, i would advise you keep an eye on it, wait for your period and if youy dont get it, take a test, however if you get it and then the following month get the same cramps, then visit the doctor.

I hope i helped, feel free to mail me x x x

petina1 agony auntcramping can be associated with your periods getting ready to start even up to a couple of weeks. If they are severe you could take a pain killer, or if they are happening a lot and worrying you could talk to your doctor. Make a note of when they occur and see if there's a link to your period each month. hope this helps.

A female reader, screenstar South Africa +, writes (30 November 2008):

cramping could mean many things, you could have an infection, it is too early for a home pregnancy test, but a blood test could be done to rule out pregnancy, if you have been taking all the necessary precautions , you are on the pill and used a condom(if the condom was used properly, if it didnt break or slip off) then you have nothing to worry about , the cramping may be stress related and might be exacerbated through worry about pregnancy

sometimes cramping is due to early pregnancy, but in light of you taking such extra precautions I doubt it!

a visit to your doctor may be in order just to double check

good luck !

A female reader, Ms.wayne United States +, writes (30 November 2008):

It could just be side effects from the pill. I know before I get my period I experience cramping but I dont know about 2 weeks prior to it. Maybe you should go to the dr and take a test or get a blood test for a more accurate result. Good luck!
