I hadn't felt the tell tale tingling though. I'm really worried that I could've given him genital herpes, he's only 18, and I'm 17. I feel so bad, I've basically cursed him with this thing for the rest of his life! Could he have contracted it? I didn't have any signs that night. Please help!!

The oral herpes could jump and become the genital herpes, yes.
YOu may have given it to him, even when you were not showing symptoms, itchiness, redness, blister...because the virus can be transmitted through a process called shedding.
See a family doctor to get yourself educated.

so if, he does get herpes, will it be the simplex strain? Therefore, even if he does get it down there, it won't be as bad? I'm a bit confused. Will it come up elsewhere?

Oral and genital are two different strains. It is possible to transmit the herpes simplex 1 to simplex 2 but is not as commonly transmitted as genital to genital.
Herpes can be transmitted even when no apparent outbreak or signs of an outbreak are present.
