Hi. You say you don't know where else you could ask this; is that because you don't have a mom available, or aunt or older sis? If you feel unable to get help from someone in person that you are comfortable with, then here is a suggestion for one of your concerns: switch from tampons to panty liners or pads. Until you find out whether your discharge is a menstrual precursor or an infection of some sort, you should not be using a "plug" like a tampon. If the discharge has any bad odor, or any color or cloudiness to it, you really should see a doctor. If it's an infection, you would probably also be experiencing itching and burning. If you are, again, please see a doctor, okay? It will be such a relief to you to be able to stop worrying about it.

I strongly suggest seeing a doctor though because these could be signs of an infection or a condition of some kind and you don't want to take chances like that it might have a long term effect on your fertility.
